About Barstow |
||
|
Route 66 Museum - US-66, America's Main Street, became so famous
because of the heavy, early 20th Century westward migration to California,
that it has become part of the folklore in the West. You can encounter
many 'Route 66 Museums' along I-40; this may well be the newest (at the
moment) having opened Independence Day of 2003. |
Mojave River Valley Museum - A well established museum dedicated to
preserving the story of the early settles in the Mojave River Valley. A
wide assortment of artifact is on display both inside and outside the
building. Reserving a room in a fine hotel in the Barstow area is very easy here on I-40-Guide.com. Just select the community with a left-click of your mouse and then select the hotel of your choice. You can even request desired amenities. Most of the hotels offering discounts are on East Main (I-15 exit 182 - or, if you're westbound on I-40, use exit 1 and turn right). There are also a couple hotels west of Barstow (Lenwood) at I-15 exit 176. View Discount Hotels near I-15/40 in Barstow
